Celtics Corporate Social Charter Being Open to All

“As a Club open to all since its formation in 1888, Celtic at all times aims to promote inclusion, diversity and opportunity for all.” Peter Lawwell

This Blog Post will be the first of many on this subject.

Above is a Picture of Eire Nua republican flute band posing outside of Celtic Park.

It is not the 1st time Celtic park has been host to bands that take pride in the glorification of Sectarian Racist terrorism.

The Wolfe Tones were invited into Celtic Park to film a music video which promoted such terrorism in the 1980’s at the height of the PIRA bombing campaign of mainland Great Britain.

But there is something  even more sinister and worrying about Eire Nua republican flute band polluting my country of Scotland with their Terrorist promoting filth that alarms me.

The band hail from PIRA sectarian heartland of west Belfast and take their name from Éire Nua, or “New Ireland”, was a political strategy of the Provisional IRA and Sinn Fein during the 1970s and early 1980s. It was particularly associated with the Dublin-based leadership group centred around Ruairí Ó Brádaigh and Dáithí Ó Conaill, who were the authors of the policy.

Ruairí Ó Brádaigh  father, Matt Brady, was an IRA Volunteer and was severely wounded  in 1919. His mother, May Caffrey, was a  Cumann na mBan an Irish women’s paramilitary organisation volunteer.

He joined the IRA. In September 1951 becoming a Training Officer for the IRA. In 1954, appointed to the Military Council of the IRA, a subcommittee set up in 1950 to plan a military campaign against RUC barracks.

On 13 August 1955, Ó Brádaigh led a ten-member IRA group in an arms raid on Hazebrouck Barracks. It was the biggest IRA arms raid in Britain.

The IRA Border Campaign, commenced on 12 December 1956. As an IRA General Headquarters Staff  officer, Ó Brádaigh was responsible for training the Teeling Column in the West of Ireland. During the Campaign, he served as second in command of the Teeling Column. On 30 December 1956, he partook in the Teeling Column attack on RUC barracks in Derrylin, County Fermanagh. RUC Constable John Scally was killed in the attack. Scally was the first fatality of the new IRA campaign.

Ó Brádaigh became the IRA Chief of Staff, a position he held until May 1959.

Ó Brádaigh was President of Republican Sinn Féin from 1987–2009.

Republican Sinn Féin’s relationship with the Continuity IRA is similar to the relationship between Sinn Féin and the Provisional IRA when Ó Brádaigh was Sinn Féin’s President.

The other founder of Eire Nua was Dáithí Ó Conaill  a member of the IRA Army Council, vice-president of Sinn Féin and Republican Sinn Féin. He was also the first chief of staff of the Continuity IRA.

he was second-in-command of the Pearse Column which carried out the raid on Brookeborough (RUC) Barracks in County Fermanagh, in which facist anti semite Seán South was killed.

Here is Dáithí Ó Conail next to Martin McGuinness on 13 June 1972, he appeared at an IRA press conference in Derry.

At the 1986 Sinn Féin Ard Fheis, he opposed the decision to drop abstentionism to Leinster House. He joined in the walk out led by Ó Brádaigh and was chairman of Republican Sinn Féin from 1986 to 1987 and subsequently a vice-president of the party.

If that isnt food for thought for you and you don’t believe me that you should be alarmed and conscious about this band using football as a conduit to promote their hate then dont take my word look at how they alarm the Police authorities.

This picture was taken as the bands bus was being stopped and searched under the firearms act of 1968.

Why are the Police authorities so on their guard with this band?

wouldn’t be anything to do with this picture?

Or the bands heavy involvement in an event In Memory of terrorist Pearse Jordan, Belfast Brigade P.I.R.A

Or this recent Eire Nua republican flute band march

One thing is for sure if one thing rivals this bands blood lust for the sectarian killing of innocent men, woman and children it is Celtic Football Club PLC as proven here with the 2nd prize in the raffle.
