The Rangers hating, disguised thinly as having a go at the SFA propaganda emanating from Tannadice was in full vile pish reeking flow this week. The main protagonist of this was the chairman of Dundee United Stephen Thompson.

He was ably aided in his hate filled rangers hated rants by Dundee united fan Jim Spence who was first with the exclusive on BBC sportsound on Saturday evening.

He is always first with all the inside knowledge at tannadice

Jim Spence is one of the biggest critics of the so called succulent lamb culture in Scottish football journalism. Succulent lamb as the Masonic conspiracist Tom Minogue sectarian Celtic wiki so bigotedly puts it

“refers to media men who choose to pander to the whims and agendas set by the Huns”

Jim Spence in my humble opinion is so far up Dundee united, the club he supports and its chairman Stephen Thompson’s rear end its as if legendary goal keeper Hamish McAlpine has punted him up there!

It is as if he is an official Dundee united propagandist mouth piece publicly funded by licence fee payers money.

That it was unfair that Ibrox was hosting the semi final despite this being public knowledge since last October.

Rangers fans were up in arms because the 2 finals were at Celtic park and with Celtic obviously being hot favourites it would be them more than likely to contest one or even both finals.

Rangers fans were told to stop whining and accept the decision which we did.

At this time the Dundee United Chairman Stephen Thomson is allegedly said the same thing, though with it being at same time as Halloween he was probably busy at the time

The main gripe that Stephen Thompson has that this will give Rangers an unfair advantage as it would be a “home tie” for Rangers.

This didnt seem to be the case when Rangers skelped Celtic 2 1 in their own midden in a Scottish cup semi final.

One team who did make an objection in the history of the Scottish cup was Airdrieonians of course it didn’t get as much media attention because it didn’t involve Rangers bashing.

You see Airdrieonians played celtic in Scottish cup final at hampden. This was a home tie for Celtic as they had played all their home games at hampden as parkhead was getting a 60 minute make over with Breeze block.

Airdrieonians complained about this but there was no mhedia hysteria not even when Celtics SFA bogey man Jim Farry didnt even allow Airdrieonians to have a training session on the pitch

Celtic didnt seem to get that much of an advantage as they scraped past the lower league opposition 1 0

SECOND on the Ranger hating thinly disguised as an attack on the SFA was……

Dundee United wanted, no down right demanded that they should have a 50/50 ticket split

This was laughed at in a  statement from the SFA that said , 

at the pre-operations meeting last week, United were offered 11,063 seats, only for the club’s representative to say that “in order to ensure maximum attendance”, United would prefer to only be allocated the 8,012-seat Broomloan Road stand for the 12 April tie, which kicks off at 12:45 GMT

You see that would fit in with the history of Dundee United, as this isn’t the first Scottish cup semi final Dundee united played at Ibrox park, OH NO!

They played Celtic in a Scottish cup semi final in April 1999 and as you can see from the pictures below it appears they were given the Copland road end and couldn’t even bloody sell it out!!!

If anyone can tell me the Dundee United ticket allocation for that game I would be grateful. The Attendance was a well below full Ibrox of 43,491.

I cant remember mhedia hysteria about a 50/50 split, but then again Rangers were not involved.

As for anything but a 50/50 split of tickets being an unfair advantage. Aberdeen fans outnumbered ICT fans 4 to 1 and they never seemed to benefit from that majority as the ground out their first cup win in nearly 20 years.

But I’ve got a solution to this all!

Lets play the semi at Celtic park and the final at Ibrox

Split the gate 50/50 30000 to Rangers 30000 to Dundee United both clubs pay for them up front if you cant sell them to YOUR OWN REAL FANS then you don’t get a refund!

This will no doubt leave Dundee united out of pocket.

Loyal Rangers fans who have stuck by their club through the injustice and hatred they have had to endure in the last two years will be without tickets for the match and loads of empty seats at Celtic park.

And would be fitting example of the petty hatred and envy by small minded bigots of the likes of Stephen Thompson that are slowly killing the game in Scotland.

On a side note If the authorities want to try and locate that missing jumbo jet they could start by having a look under the huge banner ironically called the 12th man, that covers all the seats of the stand that used to be filled with Rangers fans at their many victories at Tannadice

A woman told of her two-year “nightmare” after being sexually assaulted by a Dundee United groundsman at Tannadice.

Albert Dawson, 49, of Victoria Street, admitted at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday that between February 1 and April 30 2011 he sexually assaulted the woman at Tannadice Park while he was employed by Dundee United Football Club.

The court heard the woman had been in the stadium when Dawson approached her asking what she was doing.

“He put his arms around her, pulling her close to him, before touching her breasts over her clothing and then putting his hand between her legs.

“He thereafter walked away and she became very upset.

“She ran out of the stand and found a groundsman and told him what happened. The groundsman could see she was upset but she didn’t make any initial disclosure at this time.”

He is now on the sex offenders register

TIME TO RECLAIM St PATRICK’S DAY FROM THE BIGOTS

A march by a republican flute band – which according to police represents “a high risk to public safety” – has been given the go-ahead to take place in Wishaw this Saturday morning.

Permission for the parade to mark St Patrick’s Day by the Wolfe Tone Flute Band of Craigneuk was granted by North Lanarkshire Council last week.

The proposed route – which originally sought to march through a number of Craigneuk streets – has been restricted following police fears that entering the housing scheme could represent an officer safety risk.
A similar parade in Bargeddie, along with the annual St Patrick’s Day event in Coatbridge, means that there is already a significant drain on police resources in the area this Saturday.

A police report on the parade – which also contends it represents a “high likelihood of disruption to the community” – noted that a similar event by the same band last June was poorly organised.
It stated: “The stewards did not do their job. They seemed unprofessional and incapable or not actually interested in controlling the parade or its followers.”

The report was also critical of the steward’s attire. It went on: “Although each of the stewards wore yellow tabards several had Celtic football tops underneath which were clearly visible”.
As a consequence police have asked the parade’s organiser to submit a detailed stewarding plan, along with details of relevant training.

Lanarkshire man arrested over terrorist ‘articles’

A MAN has been arrested in North Lanarkshire over alleged offences relating to the wearing or displaying of articles linked to terrorist groups.

The 38-year-old was taken into police custody on Friday following what was described as an “intelligence led, pre-planned operation” in the Newarthill area of North Lanarkshire.

He was detained under section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000 which covers the wearing or displaying of uniforms and articles linked to terrorist groups.

The Act states: “A person in a public place commits an offence if he – (a) wears an item of clothing, or (b) wears, carries or displays an article, in such a way or in such circumstances as to arouse reasonable suspicion that he is a member or supporter of a proscribed organisation.”
The man has been detained in custody and is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court later today.

Scotland and Ireland share a Gaelic culture. Our histories are intertwined and our heritage is something to be celebrated. This event showcases all that is wonderful about Irish literature, music, dance and sport.
The Irish diaspora of the 19th century led to the migration of countrymen across continents. Many, of course, settled in the West of Scotland, particularly in
Glasgow and have made a huge contribution. Today, thousands of Glasgow families, like mine, are proud to trace their roots to Ireland.
Thanks to the descendants of these 19th century immigrants and those who arrived later, Irish culture continues to enrich Scottish life today. Traditional music from Scotland and Ireland has always flourished around the world, and in recent decades, Irish dance has also gone from strength to strength in Scotland, with the World Irish Dance Champions and Celtic Connections huge events in this city’s cultural calendar.
Ireland’s cultural heart has found a home in Glasgow and I am proud about that.

Ironically for the zealots of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians and the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights. The first observance of Saint Patrick’s Day in America. Was organised by the Charitable Irish Society of Boston in the Thirteen Colonies in 1737. The celebration was not Catholic in nature, Irish immigration to the colonies having been dominated by Protestants.

There are some who want a St Patrick’s day parade in Glasgow , the nearly fortnightly st patricks day festival must not be enough for them.

I don’t have a problem with another free holiday celebration but why not the cry for a St Georges day, St Andrews day or St Davids day?

No Its is, is Celtic park will be structurally sound holding them?.

Not because these finals will no doubt be near capacity for the first time in months since Celtics terrible attendance figures, but as you will see from the applications form sent in to demolish the Historic Scotland grade B listed London road Primary School building.

You see when Historic Scotland asked these following questions to Celtic Football Club….

Where the application proposes the demolition of a listed building applicants will be expected to provide evidence to show that:

a. the building is not of special interest; or

b. the building is incapable of repair; or

c. the demolition of the building is essential to delivering significant benefits to economic growth or the wider community; or

d. the repair of the building is not economically viable and that it has been marketed at a price reflecting its location and condition to potential restoring purchasers for a reasonable period.
Where proposals involve significant intervention to, or the demolition of a listed building the planning authority should involve Historic Scotland in the pre-application discussions.

So Celtic Football club say there is A SUBSTANTIAL GEOLOGICAL FAULT underneath the school.

It wont be the first time an Inverness Caledonian Thistle match at Celtic park has been called off because of Health and safety reasons due to structural damage.

In January 2000, After making the long trek down to Glasgow, with thousands of their supporters, they found the game was called off an hour before kick off because wind damage to the roof had made the newly named Lisbon Lions stand unsafe.

A NEIGHBOUR, Celtic fan self-employed joiner Kevin Dunn of top referee Hugh Dallas smashed his windows as the official was watching highlights of an Old Firm game where he was felled by a coin.He was convicted of wilfully and recklessly smashing two windows at the international referee’s home.

He faced losing his prized Celtic season ticket after the verdict. A Celtic spokesman said: “We will be speaking to Dunn’s solicitor about his client.” I can neither confirm or deny that this happened but as you read on dear reader, you would be liable to think after what you’re about to read in this blog that Celtic would offer him a seat in the Directors box.

Dallas told prosecutor Stephen McGowan: “The bangs came all of a sudden. We looked at each other and jumped up, then we heard another bang. “As we looked out the front door we could see someone passing. He was right in front of the door.” Asked if he could identify the man, Dallas replied: “Yes, it was Kevin Dunn.” Who he had known socially for about 20 years.

Dunn, 41, voluntarily went to Motherwell police station the next day and denied the attack during a taped interview. He admitted in court that he had drunk a couple of beer shandies after the game and was not “deliriously happy” that Rangers had won.

Finding Dunn guilty, Edith Ryan, JP, deferred sentence for a year for good behaviour. She also told him to bring £200 compensation when he appeared in court again. Dunn, said to earn £150 a week, covered his face as he bolted from the court into a waiting car..

The shrink’s trial-by-telly verdict was that Dallas sparked the riot by using “over- friendly” gestures to Rangers players and MacDonald claimed: “The study of his body language came to the conclusion he was capable of provoking the kind of crowd reaction we don’t want to see inside Celtic Park. “Was it purely co-incidental that shortly after he was seen patting Gio van Bronckhorst a coin came on to the park and struck the referee? “Not according to the careful scrutiny of the game carried out by a man trained to understand crowd reactions and the reasons for them.”

Celtic’s chief executive denied they want to ruin the ref’s career or have him blacklisted for the March 2000 derby and said: “All we wanted to do by involving a psychologist was help make a good referee an even better one.”

Celtic has already asked the SPL to axe Dallas as ref for the 1999 December 21 Old Firm clash.

An SPL spokesman said “I can confirm our Football Board did receive a psychologist’s report on Hugh Dallas as part of Celtic’s request to have a change of referee for the Old firm game on December. Since the meeting to discuss that matter was held in confidence we must take the view that our response to this story has to be kept confidential too.” He said Celtic were searching for a world class referee to scrutinise the full May 2 match and report back to Celtic chief Allan MacDonald with his findings. Kearney makes three demands and told the Record the SFA will be given until the end of the week to comply or expect an escalation of hostility. (oooh very Christian) 

The demands are:

That the results of their investigation are made public.

That the SFA treat the matter with urgency.

That Dallas is sacked if findings against him are proven.

Last night, Kearney said: ” The reason we haven’t got involved in this issue until now is that the SFA were investigating this as an internal issue and two months have now passed. “It is reasonable to ask the SFA what they’re doing regarding this. I hope this does not get brushed under the carpet.”

Kearney defended the Church entering the arena of sport, adding: “This is not a sport issue, it’s much bigger than sport.”

Seriously did Peter Kearney accuse an organsation of sweeping things under the carpet?

My meeting with Hugh Dallas

I have to confess something. I met Hugh Dallas once in a car park where I was……….,NO I wasn’t giving him a bung timothy!

I was parking my car and we shared a lift together and I felt like giving him a piece of my mind, a verbal volley if you will about refereeing decisions that went against my team.But then I thought better of it because I was brought up better than that.

This man was on his day off probably going shopping the last thing he would have wanted was someone looking through the tainted specs of the club they support.

I wouldn’t want someone doing that to me on my day off, so why would I do that to anybody else.

Not to mention the fact he was a Grade One referee Dallas, rated by FIFA as one of the best officials in the world, oversaw a UEFA Finals and was involved in World Cups in France.

And the same goes for Neil Lennon his attack at tynecastle.

I hope the tynecastle CCTV work better than the ones at Celtic park that have let done the club so much in their efforts to find so many of their violent bigoted malcontents that inhabit their Stadium.
